Timbaland at GrammysIn other Grammy news, Timbaland managed to open mouth and insert foot at People magazine’s all-star, pre-Grammy concert on February 9, when the producer/rapper delivered an expletive-filled speech against the magazine because some of his friends were apparently denied entrance to the party.

Timbaland addressed the crowd at Los Angeles’ Avalon Club, stating, “Next time I have one of my homeboys in line, let that (expletive) in!…I don’t like to see my people turned around for some (expletive) magazine … (expletive) y’all!”

People magazine didn’t release a statement regarding Timbaland’s outburst, although a source close to the celebrity weekly said they were “perplexed as to why Timbaland was upset and that they had considered the event a success.”

The party featured performances by Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Chris Cornell, Grammy-nominated band Paramore, and OneRepublic and was attended by various celebrities including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Ludacris, Jordin Sparks, will.i.am, Fergie, Mario Lopez, and “Hannah Montana” alter ego Miley Cyrus.
