Pink and Hart Call It Quits

Just as there are always celebrity hookups and new relationships, so too are there breakups and divorce.

This time, it’s the quirky pop singer Pink (real name: Alecia Moore), 28, famous as much for her jabs at the music industry as her ever-changing hair colors, and her husband of two years, motocross racer and former “The Surreal Life” and “Inked” television star Carey Hart, 32.

According to Pink’s publicist, Michele Schweitzer, the couple is now separated. While the d-word has yet to be mentioned, it’s likely only a matter of time.

“Pink and Carey Hart have separated. This decision was made by best friends with a huge amount of love and respect for one another,” Schweitzer recently told People magazine, adding, “While the marriage is over, their friendship has never been stronger.”

The pair met at the 2001 X Games, and after an on-again off-again couple of years, they got married in January 2006 at a non-denominational ceremony in Costa Rica.
