Activist Angelina Jolie, 32, wrote an op-ed article in The Washington Post newspaper yesterday urging the United States to help Iraqi refugees who have been displaced by the war. In her piece, titled “Staying to Help in Iraq”, the actress and goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees says, “American support is key to addressing the humanitarian crisis, which has displaced more than 4 million people.” She also notes that of the 2 million refugees within the country, 58 percent are younger then 12 years of age.

His potential adoptee is Dennis (played by relative acting newcomer Bobby Coleman), a young, parentless, friendless outcast who tells everyone he’s from Mars, literally.

Forget who wasn’t nominated in whatever category.
It seems all some people could talk about after the Oscars on Sunday night was the fact that Whoopi Goldberg was left out of a montage highlighting past hosts. For the record, Goldberg was the first female emcee, as well as the first African American, and she served as host in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2002.
